When does Decay start?
Teeth starts to form before birth and decay can develop as soon as teeth erupts.
Brush Guide
Use a soft bristled brush and water after every meal. It is important to use only child’s toothpaste.
Avoid Sippy Cups
Sipping juice and milk from a sippy cup all day keeps teeth bathed in sugar and leads to decay.
Your child’s first dental visit is recommended around their first birthday or within 6 months of the first tooth coming in. Depending on your child’s age, the visit may include a full exam of the teeth, jaws, bite, gums, and oral tissues to check growth and development.

The doctor was very patient with her and spend a lot of time explaining her problem and the procedure for her treatment. It has been a year now we started taking treatment. I went to see Dr. Naveen after having been to a couple of other prominent dentists in the city. Once I met him, he quickly made me understand how childrens’ teeth are different from adults and that they need special care .
The most important take away from my meeting was that children should feel comfortable when they go to see a dentist and should not think of it as place where pain ensues.
The ambience of the place relaxed my child and engaged him with an aesthetically appealing fish tank and calming scenes from the deep blue sea on the walls.
The staff were very courteous and took care to ensure we followed all COVID related protocols .

Dr. Naveen spend lot of time in clarifying doubts, he will make sure the child and the parents are comfortable before proceeding with the treatment. It is very hard to find a good dentist like him. We are really happy and comfortable with the treatment and the guidance provided by him for our kids.
